Icons in the „Metro Look“ for free – Monochrom/Minimalist Icons

At the moment it is in to create simple but elegant designs. A good example is the metro design used by Microsoft in numerous products. Of course you need to find a fitting icon first so here is something I want to recommend to you because they are for free and you can use it in commercial products as well.

I didn’t found something negative on the following icons but please check out the license term of each Icon Designer before you use them! It’s possible that the license terms will change from time to time. Also you should check up if you have to mention the name of the designer.

A look into the past

Three years ago I’ve already written a blogpost about this subject. The icons at this time are very colorful and in the 3D look. I can’t wait to see what the icons will look like in 3 years.
